Conference Dinner
The committee would like to invite all who are attending LLC Colloquy 2014 to join us for the conference dinner at 7.00pm on Monday 26th May. It will be held at Spoon (6A Nicolson St, Edinburgh, Midlothian EH8 9DH).
Diners have a choice of a two or three course set menu:
Starters
1) Soup of the day
2) Plum tomato, mozzarella & basil roquette salad with croutons: (vegetarian)
3) Smoked trout mousse with watercress, radish chicory & oatcakes
Mains
1) Pan fried sea bass with grilled polenta, green beans and sauce viege: (GF)
2) Lightly spiced cornfed chicken supreme with giant couscous, lime and coriander yogurt
3) Red pepper, fennel, tomato & borlotti bean stew with marinated feta and toasted almonds: (vegetarian) (GF)
Desserts
1) Dunsyre blue cheese with oatcakes and chutney
2) Almond and rhubarb cake with marscarpone and vanilla syrup
3) Chocolate tart, raspberries, and cream fraiche
2 course: £16, 3 course £21
***Please note with large groups there is a required 10% gratuity.

The conference will take place on 26th May in 19 George Square, and will see students from across the school of literatures, languages, and cultures at The University of Edinburgh present their research. It’s a great opportunity to find out what’s going on in the LLC School, to meet other students who share your interests, and to support friends who are presenting.
Registration will remain open until 25th May, though if you register after 11th May we cannot guarantee catering for those with special dietary requirements.
